SOPHIE & FIN DO IT IN STYLE!

It’s tricky to know where to start with Sophie & Fin’s Wedding. I guess I’ll mention now that if I refer to the Groom as Greg, Fin or Francis, I’m speaking about the same person. He goes under three different names between his family and friends and I found myself using all of them. Sophie (who only uses one name, like the rest of us) and her bridesmaids spent their morning at a cottage in the Somerset countryside. It was built in the 1500’s and had so much character.

Fin spent his morning running around his family home making the final touches with his parents. The ceremony was held outside on the land of their family home, with incredible views over the Somerset countryside. It took a little time for the old Austin to get everyone over to the ceremony but with the amazing weather everyone was quite comfortable. Fin & Sophie actually officially tied the knot in the morning at the registry office, then had a very special, personal blessing on their land given by Fin’s grandmother. After the blessing, everyone relocated over to the marquee for afternoon drinks, canapes, some formal photos and dinner.

Greg and Sophie sneaked out after dinner and we rode around the land on the modified golf buggy to capture some portraits at sunset. We returned for speeches and the first dance and this is when all the party really kicked off. Guests spent the next few hours mingling between the live band and line dancing in the marquee and the karaoke barn, all topped off with some cigars and epic fireworks. Nicely done indeed!
