Wild Opulence

A BOHEMIAN STYLE WEDDING...

“The inspiration behind ‘Wild Opulence’ was the concept of having a festival and bohemian style wedding whilst still having accents of grandeur and luxe.  This wedding is for style conscious and most modern of couples, who seek to have their wedding, their way!

The unique setting was Nottingham’s newest tipi venue Overgrown Acres, which is a beautiful venue set in seven acres of lush meadow and woodland.  The perfect backdrop for the wild nature of the photoshoot.”

The Styling

POPS OF SUGAR PINK...

“Natural earthy hues and golden tones, with pops of sugar pink, magenta & lilac were seen throughout. Grasses and dried flowers were used to create texture & movement to give a prairie-like feel, whilst dahlias and roses brought a depth of luxury. The styling included a wild floral moongate arch with neon illumination, a rustic outdoor cake display, and a luscious meadow tablescape, which was filled with sumptuous silk textures, endless gold candlesticks and cut crystal glassware. Wild berries, and dissected fruit also added to the sense of opulence.”

The Florals

DARK MOODY TONES...

“Newlyweds Brooke & Jay, (along with Lady the Pomeranian who styled her pink tutu to perfection), certainly looked the part, in their bespoke hand painted Mr & Mrs denim jackets. Hair and make up was a far step away from tradition, with loose, tousled curls, and dark moody tones. And gowns were selected in powder pink tones with whimsical detailing and tulle layers, to complement Brooke’s edginess. The entire look was finished off with statement floral headpieces and oversized gold jewellery which added to the bride’s alternative style.”
