Sherwood Pines - Engagement Shoot
I met Chris and Yvette for the first time on this engagement shoot. They live out in Sydney so all of our correspondence until now was email or FaceTime, which is fine, easy in fact. So long as you master the time difference! I'd FaceTime them just as the latest Game of Thrones was about to be aired in Oz, obviously hours before it was due to be shown in the UK, Chris liked to wind me up by threatening to expose story lines so I knew next time to wait until we were both up to date before making the FaceTime. They flew back to the UK around the 10th December, just over two weeks before their Norwood Park Wedding, so we slipped in this engagement shoot within two weeks of the wedding, just before Christmas.
We're covering their wedding with both photography and film, so there will be three of us capturing the day, one photographer and two cinematographers and with all they have planned I can't wait to capture it. It'll make an amazing wedding film and will take me back to my first wedding film I every captured which was at Norwood Park back in 2014, three years ago, almost to the day.
This Sherwood Pines Engagement Shoot was an early morning sunrise shoot. Extremely icey conditions, freezing temperatures but a beautiful morning sky and sunrise. I absolutely love this collection, those pine trees offer an amazing backdrop and the hazy morning light just ties it all together, let me know what you think in the comments box at the bottom. The Norwood Park Wedding takes place on 29th December 2017 and I can't wait to show you what we capture. Keep an eye out. Finally, if there's anyone from Sydney looking for a wedding photographer... I like to travel :-)
