India & James | Cockliffe Country House
I had the pleasure of capturing India & James’ wedding day in the autumn of 2018, just before halloween. They made an incredible job of styling Cockliffe with autumnal colours and foliage, oh and masses of pumpkins of every shape and size. We captured the day both on film and stills. A huge thank you to Paul Eyre for capturing the images. Largely the styling was coordinated by Charlotte from Fine & Dandy Events, she quite clearly has an incredible eye for detail as well as an amazing selection of decor options that can fill any size room.
We spent the morning at the family homes, about 15 minutes from Cockliffe, India with her girls and James with the lads and their son. James, being the true gent that he is organised a surprise Rolls Royce to drive India to Cockliffe. Legend! The Ceremony began with a jazz band playing Over The Rainbow as India and her father walked down the tree lined aisle and their son made himself at home as his mummy & daddy said their vows!
Straight after the ceremony everyone enjoyed some cocktails and a load of confetti outside the front of the house, although there was a hint of winter in the air so the majority of the fun was taking place inside the bar. The kids loved an awesome classic Punch & Judy show and just before dinner India’s Dad, James and his best man delivered three amazing speeches. James did a sterling job of holding off the pressure of the first dance, considering India is a professional dancer, that must have been very daunting! Half way through their dance however the dance floor was packed, and it remained that way for the remainder of the night. In fact, I didn’t see India off the dance floor once, which is awesome. A beautiful wedding day - a touch of class with their closest of family and friends!
